Change

I heard Josh Dueck speak about the challenges he had experienced in his life.

A skiing accident changed him from a competitive free skier to a paraplegic in a split second.

Josh's attitude is positive and uplifting.

He had three things on his mind after the accident:

  1. everything happens for a reason
  2. we never get anything we are not strong enough to handle
  3. everything in his life prepared him for this moment

Josh's life is not what he expected it would be prior to the accident, but with his positive attitude he won a silver medal at the 2010 Winter Paralympics in the men's slalom sit-ski event in Whistler.

He inspires others to overcome their difficulties.

When you are faced with challenges and change, what is your attitude? What can you learn from someone like Josh?
