Becoming a Global Partner with the Haines Centre can take time. There is no rush. We want the right people who love Systems Thinking and want to be part of our group for a long time.

1. Get to know us
Start a conversation with one of our Global Partners about both your and our Vision and Values
Learn about The Haines Centre for Strategic Management
Submit your resume, background and qualifications to Valerie MacLeod
2. Let's meet
Meet in person on online with me to discuss your future vision, personal values, fit with the Haines Centre and any other questions you have
3. Get certified in Haines Centre materials
You must complete one of our three core Gold Mastery Certifications
We'll discuss your intent for future certifications
4. Submit an application
Your application is reviewed by the existing Global Partners
5. Interview with Global Partners
Participate in an interview with some of our Global Partners, either in person or via technology
6. Approval Vote by Global Partners
We will be running a business together and developing intellectual property as a team. Therefore, the Global Partners will vote on your membership.
7. Development actions and coaching by Global Partner
Working with one of the Global Partners, you will create development actions
8. Mentoring, Coaching and Training
One Global Partner will become your mentor and coach during your first year
Mentoring and coaching - By one of our Global Partners to support your business plans and strategic life plan
Camaraderie, learning and teamwork - We meet annual in different parts of the world to plan, develop content, increase our knowledge and enjoy that part of the world
Land better and higher quality projects - Work with senior management in all sectors of business, government and not-for-profits
Increase visibility and respect - Leverage the IP and prominence of The Systems Thinking Approach® and The Haines Centre
Increase financial returns - As a member of a global consulting group you can expect higher fees and better work
Shared leadership - Work with the other Global Partners to run our unique virtual, values-based alliance
Valerie MacLeod, MBA, is senior Global Partner with the Haines Centre. She is chair of the Centre and is a certified business coach, master facilitator and master trainer. She enjoys helping organizations and individuals exceed their goals. She coaches, trains and facilitates in strategic thinking, strategic planning, change, people and leadership.
Because of Valerie’s technical background (Bachelor of Mathematics) she works well with technical leaders – people who are engineers, accountants, scientists, doctors, geoscientists, computer specialists, technology professionals, etc. Her MBA (Human Resources) and experience give her the skills to facilitate, coach and training using a diverse skill set.
She is unique because she balances both left-brain (logical) and right-brain (creative & systems thinking) processing to help her clients strengthen their strategic thinking abilities.
She has been a Global Partner with the Haines Centre for over twenty-five years.
