How can you change the world around you? The world is big – you are little!
However, I read an article called “When You Change the World Around You Changes.” The article reminded me that my thought process changes my attitudes and actions. And my attitudes and actions have an impact upon the world.
"Where success is concerned, people are not measured in inches, pounds, or college degrees, or family background; they are measured by the size of their thinking."--David Schwartz
In summary you can change the world by:
Being unreasonable – Instead of doing what everyone else is doing, made a conscious decision to choose goals outside of the norm. Set high expectations for yourself.
Cultivate a positive attitude - Be excited each day about what you can achieve. Believe in yourself.
Create end goals – Think about what your future life and world could look like. Aim for those goals daily.
Take the first step – In spite of uncertainty or where the crowd is going, move forward in the direction of your end goals. Take a chance.
Have laser focus on your goals – Keep focused on your goals in spite of the crowd. Having a clear picture or video of what the end goal looks like, helps you move towards it. Focus on the positive, not the negative.
Start with a small step, it is easier to continue moving forward when there is motion.
