Executive coaching is tailored for people who want to "step up" their leadership game:
Executives
Senior Leaders
High Potentials
Executive coaching involves a trusting relationship because you face difficult and sensitive decisions and issues.
As an experienced coach, I provide a safe, structured and confidential environment in which to discuss these topics.
I will help you set clear goals, unlock your potential, enhance self-awareness, improve relationships both inside and outside of the organization, develop new leadership strategies and reach your goals.
You can become more strategic, boost your self-confident, improve your work/life balance, obtain a promotion and ease the transition to a new leader with an executive coach as a sounding board.
Great question!
Executive coaching and business coaching are similar in many ways:
They use the same Systems Thinking Approach® to Coaching.
I am your trusted advisor.
We meet one-on-one and you get support between sessions.
We refine your leadership skills in the direction of your vision.
I ask you insightful questions, challenge your behaviors and give you honest feedback.
I supply guidance and tools, and also provide encouragement and accountability.
I apply my unique mixture of both left-brain and right-brain thinking styles.
Executive coaching differences include:
The scope of the issues are more organization-wide or outside the organization.
Topics tend to be more strategic and sensitive.
More of a focus on leadership and personal development.
It's lonely at the top. An executive coach allows you to confidentially discuss options and concerns with someone who isn't your employee.
Improve both business and personal performance.
See your blind-spots. An executive coach is hired to help you see things you might be missing. Therefore, I am not afraid of being fired when I speak up.
Discover new ways of thinking and responding. I bring new ways of addressing an issue and give you honest feedback on your results and behaviors.
Increase profitability. Streamlined processes and structures, and smoother business relationships means more money.
Obtain an improved work/life balance.
Sharpen your strategic, communication and people skills.
My Background. I have a Bachelor of Mathematics (Co-op with a minor in Computer Science) and an MBA (with a Human Resources minor). I work well with business leaders and entreprenuers who have a background in sciences, engineering, accounting and business.
Systems Thinking. I knew something was missing in planning and problem solving before I learned Systems Thinking. In Systems Thinking we look at the entire situation first along with its impact on other teams, departments and clients. Then we tackle the details. I use The Systems Thinking Approach® and its application to thinking, planning, communication, career management and life planning. With Systems Thinking we'll understand the entire entity we are working with and the possible implications on other people and systems.
My coaching approach. I tailor the The Systems Thinking Approach® to Coaching for your specific needs.
Certifications. I am certified in one of the few coaching programs that looks from a systems perspective, ORSC (Organization & Relationship Systems Coaching). I'm also certified in Systems Thinking, Strategic Planning, Executing Strategic Plans, Change Management and Career Planning.
Balance of left and right sides of the brain. I enjoy using both the logical, analytical and scientific side of my brain along with the creative, conceptual and holistic part. I use both sides in my coaching and training to include multiple perspectives and reduce the possibility that we missed a solution or unanticipated development.
My experience. I have coached execs and leaders for over twenty years. And consulted to private, public and non-profit organizations during that time. I am a happy entrepreneur.
My sense of humour.
