The End of Normal

University of Waterloo economics professor Larry Smith said "when this recession is over, we're not going back to normal. This is the recession that will change the world... We can expect better due diligence, more careful oversight, greater demand for accountability and a struggle to be more innovative."

If you want to take advantage of the "new normal" you need to manage the internal change in your organization and plan to leverage opportunities and mitigate threats.

It may seem like an uphill battle but great leaders take advantage of change and pull ahead of the rest of the pack.
