Many of us are working from home during these troubling times. We are looking towards technology to help us stay connected through virtual meetings.
Many people are using Zoom to connect during this time of physical distancing. However, gate-crashing or Zoom-bombing of Zoom meetings is now something you must manage.
What is Zoom-bombing? It means that someone who you did not explicitly invite to the virtual meeting shows up and tries to take over the meeting with disruptive content.
It seems that “trolls” will attend your meeting and often share graphic content. There are stories of trolls taking over the screen and sharing pornography and violent images.
Wow! Just what you need.
If you are using Zoom, here’s six ways to ensure only the people who are invited attend your meeting:
It is difficult enough to work remotely, without someone you don’t know hijacking your meeting.
Use the six ways above to ensure that only the people you invited to the meeting are there – and to ensure the content that’s shared is what you want shared!
