Analysis Paralysis is common in the workplace.
We see it everywhere - people are busy but not making progress towards their goals.
Analysis Paralysis can occur when there are too many options and you don't know where to focus.
According to Fast Company, successful people spend the first hour of each day:
Not checking emails - doing at least one high priority task before opening emails
Gaining awareness and being grateful - in yourself, among your family and friends, in your career, etc.
Tackling the important, big issues first - completing difficult tasks at the beginning of the day increases the likelihood they will get accomplished
In order to get out of Analysis Paralysis, spend some time each morning focusing on the important tasks, don't get stuck in busy work. A few minutes each morning helps me, and many of the leaders I coach, focus on the critical few activities to move forward in work and life.
