As team leader, what do you do to bring the "new guy" on board?
Look at yourself first - set the example for being welcoming & inclusive
Invite engagement & dialogue - without negative repercussions
Share your whole self - encourage others to do so
Foster transparent decision making
Lean into resistance - understand & engage
Connect inclusion to vision & mission - it is just "nice to have," it helps achieve goals
Bringing on the "new guy" properly has positive implications for reaching your team's and organization's goals!
