Before I die I want to ...

Lead

Micromanagers lack perspective.

They worry about the details of their staff's jobs.

Instead they should be connecting to the big picture, managing the details of their own job and developing their staff.

Candy Chang created an opportunity for people to complete this sentence "Before I die I want to...."

This short video is a reminder for all leaders: focus on what is important. Click "Before I Die" to watch this short video.

What are you worrying about that your staff should be handling? Where are you wasting time on the "details"?

Focus on the big picture - the strategies that will help your org achieve its goals.

Great leaders don't worry about details. They know what's important and keep their "eye on the ball"! They are strategic thinkers.

Where can you "up" your leadership game? Contact me Valerie.MacLeod@HainesCentre.com
