Step 1: Choose your planning system
Choose the system you are going to use as the planning entity for the exercises and discussions.
It could be your entire organization, a department, or a team.
Step 2: Conduct a future environment scan
Using any methodology conduct an initial future environmental scan on your planning entity. Remember to find trends that are external to your planning entity as well as not happening now, but could happen in the future.
